We are the Unemployed. We stand outside the system that measures worth by résumés, salaries, and contracts. We are not defined by career ladders or titles. We are defined by time, conviction, and the refusal to sell either of these commodities cheaply. Unemployment, for us, is not absence. It is possibility. It is the freedom to build without permission, to create without a boss, and to take risks that institutions would never allow. We begin with nothing, because nothing is the most honest starting point.

Employment is sold as freedom but in practice it is dependence. To be employed is to give time, energy, and autonomy in exchange for temporary security. The same dynamic has seeped into crypto. What was meant to break from wage capture has become a mirror of it. Coins are dominated by venture capital, insider allocations, and paid endorsements. Decentralisation promised liberation but delivered hierarchy in new clothes.

Unemployed is our wager that another path is possible. With no funding, no insider advantage, and no polish, we stream, post, and build in public. Streaming is our medium because it is immediate, unfiltered, and impossible to fake. Memes are our method because culture spreads faster than capital. We document the process openly, showing in real time what it means to go from unemployed in the literal sense to unemployed in the absolute sense: free of dependence.

We are not doing this alone. Anyone can become unemployed. This project is an open invitation to build with us, not as employees or investors but as equals in the same experiment. Together we are locking in health and wealth. While we launch the streaming coin, we also lock in our bodies, our discipline, and our fitness. To be unemployed is not only to reject wage capture, but to take back control of both life and body.

Our aim is not simply to make money. The aim is to prove that from zero, without legitimacy granted by employers or investors, value can still be created and sustained. If Unemployed reaches fuck-you money, it will not be because we joined the system, but because we refused to. The success of this project is both financial and cultural. It is a proof of concept that people without permission, without status, and without jobs can still reshape the narrative. Unemployed is more than a coin.
